Comatised x 4

Good news, people! Songstress Leona Naess is currently putting the finishing touches on her long-awaited fourth album Thirteens. Naess, who got her first record deal at 21, leaves her girlish anxiety behind for her most personal set of songs yet. Upon the release of her 2003 self-titled effort, Naess left MCA, broke up with Ryan Adams (where can I get one of those "My X is a Wanker tees? Anyone know?) and left her 20s behind. Sadly, Naess also endured the unforunate passing of her father, Norwegian businessman Arne Naess, who died while climbing on a farm in South Africa in 2004. Thirteens makes sense of it all--a select list of new tracks are currently streaming on the official Leona Naess site and myspace.
